Your Journey to personal growth starts here

Therapist Details

My name is Laura. I am a fully qualified and insured integrative therapist and I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I have also been part of developing a national online course which specialises in Adoption Support counselling to help families and adoptees process the challenges that adoption can bring. I have a Certificate in Adoption Support counselling

so I am able to work therapeutically with birth parents, adoptive parents, adoptees, and others in the family who might have also been affected by issues of adoption.

I have also had a lot of experience in working with children and young people in a supportive capacity, particularly with the difficulties that the current pandemic has brought to people’s lives.

Having trained in both Psychodynamic and the Humanistic models of Counselling, I incorporate both elements of these models. I am warm, empathic, and will offer you the space that you need to explore your issues.

Emotional Support

Our sessions together will be your safe space for us to work together on working within the present to process what you wish to bring to therapy. The sessions will be at your pace and the material that you bring will be held in a safe and confidential way.

Professional Boundaries

Being a member of the BACP, means that I will always adhere to the ethical framework that I am bound by as a therapist. The sessions will be kept confidential and clients will always be treated with respect and integrity at all times.

Regular Sessions

To ensure that the work we do together is beneficial, it is highly recommended for the sessions to be held on a regular weekly basis at the same time and in the same location. This is to ensure continuity for the work that takes place so that personal growth can happen.
